Many women names come to mind when we think of pop music. Today, many new faces appear in the pop music scene, many of whom were women younger than 30 years. Who are some of the best women artists?
1 Amy Lee (B. 1981) - You might know more as a singer Lee Evanescence. 2 Amy Winehouse (b. 1983) - Winehouse's notoriety has more to do with her personality at the time of her voice. Amy Winehouse is best known for her song Rehab, where he won the 2008 Grammy for Record of the Year, Song Of The Year and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance. Her album Back to Black was nominated for album of the year and won the Record of the Year award. Amy Jade Winehouse (born September 14, 1983) is known for its eclectic mix of various musical genres including R & B, soul, jazz and rock & roll.
3 Joss Stone (B. 1987) - rock, other British rocker, has been likened to Aretha Franklin. Stone has become a familiar name in late 2003 with their multi-platinum debut album Soul Sessions. Her second album, which also got multi-platinum awards, Mind, Body & Soul, on top of UK album charts and led to his Top Ten hit "You are me." Stone has sold more than 10 million albums worldwide. Joss Stone, born Jocelyn Eve Stoker, considered the soul and R & B singer, songwriter and actress. She also made her acting debut in late 2006 with the fantasy adventure film Eragon, as the witch Angela, and she made her television debut portrait of Anne of Cleves in Showtime series The Tudors in 2009.
4 Rihanna (b. 1988) After moving to the United States at the age of 16 years, she realized her recording career and signed with Def Jam Recordings. In 2005, Rihanna has released her debut studio album Music of the Sun, which peaked in the top ten on the Billboard 200 and features the Billboard Hot 100 single "Pon de Replay." Success was a moment for Rihanna and within the same year she released her second studio album, Girl Like Me (2006), which peaked in the top five on the Billboard album chart. Singles of Rihanna including "Umbrella," "Take a bow," "Disturbia" and "Music do not stop." Rihanna has sold over 12 million albums worldwide in four years her career span. Robyn Rihanna Fenty was born in Saint Michael, Barbados.
5 Stefani Joanne Germanotta (b. 1986) better known by her stage name Lady Gaga. Once signed and quickly dropped from Def Jam Records at the age of 19, she began performing in the rock music scene in New York's Lower East Side. Her debut album The Fame, was released in August 2008 and achieved instant access, topping the Billboard single "Just Dance" and "Poker Face". To date, Lady Gaga has sold more than 20 million digital singles and more than four million albums worldwide.
6 Avril Lavigne (b. 1984) - Avril Ramona Lavigne is a Canadian singer-songwriter, fashion designer and actress. Lavigne has become known her debut album, Let Go, in 2002. Since 2009, more than 16 million copies sold worldwide, more than 6 million that were sold in the United States. Her second and third album, Under My Skin and The Best Damn Thing, reached number one on the global scale. Lavigne has scored five number one singles worldwide, including "Complicated" "Sk8er Boi", "I am with you", "My Happy Ending" and "Girlfriend." Lavigne has sold more than 30 million copies of their albums worldwide.
7 Katy Perry (B. 1984) was born Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson in Santa Barbara, Kalifornija.Drugo child of two pastors, she has an older sister and younger brother. Perry is best known for her song "Kiss The Girl", released in 2008 and "Hot N Cold". 8 Leona Lewis (b. 1985) Leona Louise Lewis, English pop and R & B singer-songwriter. Lewis debut single "A Moment Like This" became the fastest selling UK single soon after her single "Bleeding Love" which reached number one for more than thirty singles worldwide. Lewis is also known for his work on British television series The X Factor. Lewis has sold over 6.5 million albums worldwide.
9 Natsha Bedingfield (b. 1981) Natasha Anne is also a British pop singer and songwriter. Bedingfield is also known for his debut album "unwritten" in 2004 which sold 2.3 million copies worldwide. This was followed in 2008, her successful single "Pocketfull sun" Bedingfield was born in Surrey in the New Zealand born Molly and John Bedingfield who are and love the workers.
