Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Truly Deserving of Its Cult Status!

Buffy the Vampire Slayer series remains one of my favorite paranormal TV series ever. I received this as a gift not too long ago and have been re-watch season last few weeks. The play has everything going for it - cast of talented actors (especially the brave and resolute Sarah Michelle Gellar as the eponymous heroine), riveting plots, high-paced action sequences, all sorts of dark creatures (and a great make-up effects that have withstood the test of time), witty dialogue, and just pure fun!

In this day and age where vapid reality shows dominate prime-time television, BtVS is a breath of fresh air, despite being more than ten years old. This collector's set includes the full range, ie, Seasons 1-7. From its beginnings as a mostly youth only supernatural show, the show is growing from strength to strength. In Season 1, Buffy reluctantly assumes the mantle Vampire Slayer (and it does not kill the other demons) led by Watcher Rupert Giles (Anthony Stewart Head). Only friends they are super smart, nerdy Willow (Alyson Hannigan), and the girl-crazy, the average man Xander (Nicholas Brendon). Things get even more complicated when Buffy falls fast and hard to Angel (David Boreanaz), sometimes vicious and evil vampire who has had his soul back.

next season to follow Buffy and her friends and loves, such as combat forces tame.Likovi all develop through the seasons - Willow falls in love, mature, and it is his talent for business, becoming a powerful witch, Xander more not only comic relief - he matures, experience more pain, and finds its niche, and of course Buffy - from a lonely teenager who falls for the wrong "type", she reveals that strong is not limited to just killing vampires and demons, but to overcome its internal weaknesses itself revealing. Season 3 is one of the best in the series in my opinion the characters are all shown to have advantages and disadvantages - duplicity between friends, hiding dark secrets, etc. One of my favorite episodes in Season 3's "discovery", kaolikovi have to deal with your frustration / anger / prejudice, etc. Season 4 was convincing in terms of plot and characterization. My favorite seasons are Seasons 1-4, although the season 5-7 were good as well. I was really sad when the series came to an end, but at least fans and new viewers can relive the adventures of Buffy and company through this DVD!
